When the hydraulic pump delivers high-pressure oil to a certain chamber of the cylinder through the control valve, the oil pressure acts on the effective area of the piston to generate thrust, pushing the piston rod to make linear motion. At the same time, the oil in the other chamber is discharged back to the oil tank. By changing the direction and flow rate of the oil, the movement direction and speed of the piston rod can be precisely controlled, thereby achieving precise execution of various complex movements of the excavator.
